My name is Anna F. Walker, and I am a digital artist and illustrator. I work in Procreate, but aim for an analogue feel in my work, which is why all my prints are done on beautifully textured paper for that tactile vintage feel.

I live and work in Edinburgh, where I am also a co-owner of McNaughtan’s Bookshop with my husband Derek. We specialise in rare, antiquarian and second-hand books. Within that field my interests are children’s books and the history of book illustration. I am also an avid reader of non-fiction and have been running a non-fiction book club for many years.

Apart from the bookshop, we manage two small children, two cats and a dog, who keep us appropriately busy and exhausted, but who also serve as endless inspiration for my work. Other sources of inspiration for me are books, animals, the city of Edinburgh, and the nautical world.
